AMMR is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. When an error or ethical problem is identified in a published article, the journal acts in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) retraction guidelines.
- Correction (Erratum/Corrigendum) — issued for errors that do not affect the article's conclusions. The original article is amended with a linked, dated correction notice.
- Expression of Concern — published when there is well-founded but inconclusive evidence of a problem under investigation.
- Retraction — issued for invalid results, misconduct (such as fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism), redundant publication, or major unreliable findings. A retraction notice is published and linked to the original, which is retained and clearly watermarked as retracted.
All correction and retraction notices are freely available, permanently linked to the original article, and indexed so that the record can be followed. Requests should be sent to the editorial office.
